The Britalians Marco & Erica
At the heart of Britalians TV are Marco and Erica, two eternal explorers with a passion for humanity.
Their adventures are not measured by miles, but by the people they meet, the voices, faces, and dreams that make the true fabric of every place.
Marco’s infectious spontaneity and deep empathy opens doors and hearts, revealing the humour and tenderness that unite us all. Erica’s boundless curiosity, luminous kindness and deep emotional understanding draw out the soul in every encounter, capturing moments of raw, unfiltered connection. They make the extraordinary visible in the seemingly ordinary.

Dreamers and Doers, Together, they walk through life as storytellers and listeners, singing with strangers, sharing meals, gathering laughter and wisdom wherever they go.
Through their eyes, viewers don’t just witness the world, they meet its people, and they feel their hopes, struggles, and triumphs.
Marco and Erica remind us that behind every smile, every gesture, every glance, lies a story worth telling, and that the real treasures of the world are its people.

Marco Biagioli
“Dynamic advocate for truth, human connection, equality, diversity, and human rights. Since a young age, I understood the importance of giving voice to people. My mission has always been to build bridges across cultures and walks of life, nurturing understanding and celebrating humanity’s rich diversity. I am driven by a boundless energy and a genuine love for people, which fuels my passion to support others to become the best version of themselves.”
Born and raised in Rome, and both British and Italian, I have always lived at the intersection of cultures. That dual identity has shaped me as a bridge-builder between regional authenticity and global relevance, someone who understands nuance, celebrates diversity of thought, and thrives in the connective tissue between people, ideas, and institutions.

Erica Melargo
“At my core, I am a seeker, guided by a quiet yet insistent curiosity about people and places, their stories, and the deeper truths that shape our world. Research is my compass, the human exercise I love the most. A practice of deep listening, a way of honouring lived experience, and a bridge between understanding and action.”
Born on the beautiful island of Sant’Antioco in Sardinia, I grew up with the rhythm of tradition in my heart and the call of the wider world in my soul.
When I was 17, I moved to Rome, a city that captivated me from the very first moment. I still remember calling my family during a school trip and saying, “You can’t imagine how beautiful it is, I want to live and study here!” In Rome, where history breathes through stone, I learned to navigate complexity with both intellect and empathy.
At 25, in 2012, I crossed the Channel to London. I moved after meeting Marco, who said to me, “Let’s take an adventure. Let’s embrace a new culture.” So with a one-way ticket for just 13 days, we set off, and when I arrived, everything I had read, studied, and loved about British culture and literature since childhood came to life before my eyes, like something straight out of a fairytale or the pages of those books I cherished growing up.
I’ve lived a life shaped by movement and by the richness of cultural intersection. Each place has sharpened my awareness of nuance, voice, and the subtle threads that connect people across time and space. Along this journey, Marco, the Love of my Life, no language can capture the depth of what he means to me, with his presence has been my daily inspiration, much like Socrates with his students, his reasoning sharp and inquisitive, wise, patient, and profoundly shaping the person I am becoming. I am grateful every nanosecond for his guidance and presence in my life.
I remain rooted in the belief that truth, dignity, and dialogue can light the way forward, inform, inspire, and build bridges where they are most needed.
