Elio Barbone’s story is one of passion and a commitment to authentic tradition. Growing up in a beautiful part of Naples, he began crafting pizza at the age of 14. Unlike his partner Antonio, who comes from a long lineage of pizza makers, Elio is the first generation in his family to pursue this craft. His dedication to the roots of Italian pizza is clearly reflected in his "no pineapple" rule, a stance he proudly displays on everything from staff t-shirts and walls to signs on the road to ensure customers know they are experiencing an authentic product. His journey also includes an appreciation for specific culinary traditions, such as the "Totò" pizza, which is named after a renowned Italian actor and humorist.
