Leave the past and the future apart, but rather focus on the present moment, because life is a thrill that flies away

This is your moment to fully live what is happening and lay the foundations for your future, without living only for it. It is common to feel trapped in the past or shifted into the future in such a way that the present flies away without being aware. Living in the past makes daily life empty and meaningless; living only looking at the future overloads the present with an unbearable weight and you probably end up with unfulfilled expectations. It is counter-productive to focus efforts only with a view to a better future without being able to appreciate the everyday actions.

What to do then? Should we live wildly without caring about the future? There is a keyword: balance. Go looking for your balance, the balance that makes you feel well, that enables you to learn from the past and make use of it in the future. Despite being uncertain, the future will be the result of your actions and your approach to what is out of your control.

Whether it is school, work, sport or something else, each goal requires great effort and determination to be reached. Does it make sense to mortgage the present moment for an uncertain future? How to work hard for a goal, without letting your energy be drained by it? Find something that you enjoy doing and the effort will taste differently. You could be able to reach the top of the mountain and enjoy the view; but if things go differently, you would know that you have tried your best and you have enjoyed every single step.

One last thing: remember that there is your way, the perfect combination that works for you and your happiness.
