Together with discipline and consistency, practice is essential to make a goal become a success.
It is by staying into things, testing other options, making mistakes and changing direction that you can improve and make things perfect. But that is a perfection that tastes like passion and balance; it is a purpose linked to the desire to enhance and deepen knowledge and skills, without ever forgetting the importance of being happy. This perfection is passion, commitment and tension toward improvement. Since the line between these two approaches is blurred, it is important to put ourselves and our physical and mental well-being first.
With that in mind, it is the practice that turns knowledge into competence and then enhances the latter. Let’s consider the importance of training for an athlete: it is the everyday exercise that allows them to win. Have you ever heard of someone winning an Olympic medal without spending a lot of time training? Of course not!
Let’s look at chefs and the time they spent in their kitchen to cook and bake: do you think that it is easy and immediate to gain the manual skills necessary to make wonderful and delicious delicacies?
Work on implementing these considerations in your life. Start by focusing on your goals: are you trying hard enough?
